Team Work

I’ve met individuals who understand what I say about lots of things, including what I say about institutions. But I have never succeeded in getting two let alone three of those individuals together so that we’d form a three-person-minimum core: and I’ve certainly never been with a single individual who, wearing an institutional cap, still understood what the same individual had understood a moment before, off the record.

Humans might survive if teams were more, not less, intelligent, honest, informed, open … than individuals.

The question isn’t How intelligent are you? or How intelligent am I? The question must be: How intelligent are we? and, Is it enough?

About pk

Seems to me that some modicum of honesty is requisite to intelligence. If we look in the mirror and see not kleptocrats but Christians, we’re still in the same old trouble.
