I’d like to see comparative stats on the percentages of incarcerated citizens among the world’s contemporary kleptocracies. That’s somethin that could conceivably be accomplished in this kleptocracy today with its institutions exactly as they are. The next thing I want to know we’ll have to wait and ask God at Judgment, if we are granted a question period: “Dear God, among those incarcerated, what’s the percentage of those actually guilty of whatever they were convicted of? In the US? In France? In Cuba? …”

Jesus was arrested, incarcerated, before he was scourged and crucified, right? Was he guilty? Of what?

Pilate gave him a hearing: how many kleptocracies that railroad a son of God are competent to “hear” anything, no matter what the Christ says? Was Pialte competent to hear what a rapist said? Maybe. Did that make him competent to hear a target of rabbinical ire?

The US incarcerated Crazy Horse. We didn’t like him beating our bozo general Custer. We didn’t kill him on the battle field, so we locked him up, put bureaucrat after bureaucrat in charge of him. But what was he guilty of? Were we competent to hear anything he said? How many masters of the Lakota language were present to translate for the white thieves?

Seems to me that some modicum of honesty is requisite to intelligence. If we look in the mirror and see not kleptocrats but Christians, we’re still in the same old trouble.
