Social Evolution

Individuals have vaying and limiting abilities with intelligence, honesty … science: map testing, map improvement.

The average society will be tectonically stagnant compared to the average individual: don’t huddle in the church during an earthquake, flee the church: don’t let the cops tell you what to do, they’re just another church: a church with guns.

Anyway, I believe, I fear, that this society will disintegrate, have to disintegrate, before a slightly more honest or intelligent or scientific society can form: if we’re lucky enough to evolve, if we have another generation of species left in the generator. We will not be smart enough to evolve: the biosphere may try something better-adapted despite anything we intend, or try to supervise.

Societies’ Varying Truth-Repellant Characteristics

I awoke this morning : nothing unusual about that. Specifically I was dreaming mots about societies’ varying truth-repellant characteristics. The Christians say that the Jews killed the truth teller; I say that there’s no different in that respect between the Jews and the Christians: all but very few of us are the Christ killers.
But by the time I had a cupp’a under my nose, I wrote the above. More developments coming: or not. I may try scribbling some of those mots, what I originally had an impulse for.

About pk

Seems to me that some modicum of honesty is requisite to intelligence. If we look in the mirror and see not kleptocrats but Christians, we’re still in the same old trouble.
