Follow the Lead

Follow the magician‘s lead, that is.
(That is, make following false-leads and misdirections a condition for social survival)

The United States was slow to send Crazy Horse’s kin to school. A condition for schooling is the victim’s willingness to agree that General Custer had a right, indeed, an obligation, to take Lakota gold, Lakota labor, Lakota land, Lakota lives … for Washington.
Back when Jews were lined up till they agreed that Moses was a proper substitute for God, that the rabbi was a proper substitute for Moses … Then Catholics were lined up to agree that the Jews’ vaunted Covenant really belonged to them.
Now Americans are lined up to chorus that it’s really US who are chosen: that we’re the good guys. And the more we destroy, the good-er we are.

Once the crowd is strong enough, once the least principled leash the greatest power, once disciplined intellect too is cowed by group budgets, then no one cares if a dissenter or two has crept back in from the alley: the crowd at the rally won’t hear them.
No Jew could make a living if he said I don’t believe a word of it. No contemporary can make a living if he insists that (his and) your credentials are bogus.

Bogus credentials: Exactly. I’ve got to do something more with that.

School’s Purpose

About pk

Seems to me that some modicum of honesty is requisite to intelligence. If we look in the mirror and see not kleptocrats but Christians, we’re still in the same old trouble.
