War is the health of the state.
It’s happened, at Nuremberg for instance, that war criminals have been prosecuted as war criminals: convicted, punished. Of course the prosecution was done by, could only be done by, other war criminals: Allies beating up on Nazis, winners punishing losers. Far more often, since forever, it’s war criminals punishing pacifists, punishing Christians, as “war criminals,” for peace crimes: opposing military interventions, bombings, drafts …
I really hate to use the word “Christian,” but what other word should I use? I mean of course the people whom Jesus will embrace as Christian at Judgment. I emphatically do not mean the people who attend a church, or who believe that Jesus forgives them: without the proof coming from Jesus.
