Lesson Learn

/ Social Epistemology /

We all learn from our mistakes, at least we should: but, I believe that’s true only if we’re reasonablly humble while making the mistakes. I do not believe that a God that claims infallibility, or a Church that claims infallibility, or has infallibility claimed for it, or claims an infallible pope … should be allowed to learn anything from anything.

Jesus offered advise, we sandbagged him: should we be allowed to learn from Jesus after we’ve crucified him?

Yes: if, and only if, we restructure our culture so the same thing could never happen again.

Notice: we have the same political structure Jesus had under Tiberius: God at the theoretical top, Tiberius at the actual top: Pilat judged Jesus; Jesus didn’t judge Pilat: at least not with the court, the military, the whole kleptocracy behind him.

Jesus got fucked. Now fuck Tiberius, fuck Pilat, fuck the US, the Pentagon, the lying fed, the lying courts … the media …

About pk

Seems to me that some modicum of honesty is requisite to intelligence. If we look in the mirror and see not kleptocrats but Christians, we’re still in the same old trouble.
